Does anyone else notice the wonderful play on the two words, gravity and matter? Too many of us assign too much ‘gravity’ to weighty ‘matters’; they then weigh us down. The longer we let something ‘matter’, the denser, thicker, harder to move it becomes.
Our bodies demonstrate this quite well…when gravity is our friend, when we’re upright with head up and waist back and heart forward, things don’t seem to ‘matter’ as much. We can move through life happily and healthily. But when gravity gets us down, the world weighs on our shoulders. We’re beaten down, and everything ‘matters’ too much!
My wish for us all: To live in a world where we respect gravity but don’t let it ‘matter’ to us too much.
